APPRAISAL OF CONCRETE STRUCTURES, REPAIR MATERIALS AND REHABILITATION
DATE : FRIDAY, 18TH SEPTEMBER 2015 VENUE : NUSS GUILD HOUSE, SUNTEC CITY
ABSTRACT All concrete structures during its operational life may require strengthening and/or rehabilitation. The common reasons requiring such are change of use or deterioration due to corroding steel in reinforced concrete. While the range of choice of repair materials and rehabilitation techniques are wide in variety, an assessment is necessary in most cases, whether it is determining in-situ strength of concrete or the agents causing the corrosion of the steel in concrete. This seminar brings to the construction industry experts in their own field who will speak about assessment of concrete in particular with strength, materials technology and rehabilitation techniques
SPEAKERS Dr Tam Chat Tim, NUS Brian Williams, BASF Liao Haixue, Vector Corrosion Technologies
